Central
Dakota NAVHDA Test Policy
Effective June 7, 2007
Central
Dakota NAVHDA test policy:
Entries
will not be considered accepted until a COMPLETED current year NAVHDA Test
Entry Form and Test Fee are received by the Test Secretary. A completed current
year NAVHDA Test Entry Form must include the dog’s NAVHDA registration number
and all other required information that must be obtained by the Owner or
Handler.
You will
be notified immediately that the Test Secretary has received your entry. You
will be notified at a later date, close to the test weekend, as to the day you
will run.
The
Friday test date will be filled with NA entries ONLY.
UT and
UPT will be run on Saturday and Sunday.
The
preferred running date that you select will be considered, but not guaranteed.
ALL entries need to be flexible so our chapter can fill slots in a way that
allows testing the maximum number of dogs. If you are unable to test on the
date you are assigned, your test entry fee is forfeited.
No
substitutions of Fees or Test Entrants will be made once the Test Secretary
accepts the NAVHDA Test Entry Form and Test Fee.
Waiting
List: Once the test is full, a Waiting List will be started and will operate on
a first come basis. You will be notified if your entry has been placed on a
Waiting List.
To be
placed on a Waiting List, the Test Secretary must receive a COMPLETED current
year NAVHDA Test Entry Form and Test Fee. Fees for Waiting List entrants will
be held pending an open slot. If an opening occurs, you will be notified of the
opening and the date of that opening. When you are notified, your entry and fee
will be held for an additional 3 days. If you have not confirmed acceptance of
a test slot within the 3 days, your entry will be dropped and your test fee
returned.
If the
test is full and you drop your dog from the test, any new entry that you submit
will go to the bottom of the Waiting List. The original entry fee is forfeited.
This eliminates substitution of dogs for any reason.
Once your Test Entry is accepted and the Test Secretary has
notified you of this, there will be NO refunds of Test Fees if a dog is dropped
from the test. The Test Secretary will notify you by email with a “Reply Back
Received” requirement,
Refunds
will be made for medical reasons only. Requests for refunds must be submitted
in writing to the Test Secretary, accompanied by a verifying statement from a
physician or veterinarian. The Test Secretary must receive the refund requests
and accompanying verification prior to the first day of the test. Refund
requests for medical situations arising immediately prior to or during the test
dates, which make it impossible to submit a request prior to the first day of
the test, will be considered on an individual basis by the Test Secretary. The
decision of the Test Secretary will be Final.
